Amid ongoing tensions between Kabul and Islamabad, the spokesperson for the Pakistan army, Ahmad Sharif Chaudhry said: "The life of one Pakistani is a priority for us over Afghanistan."
Ahmad Sharif Chaudhry added: "Everyone knows that Pakistan has worked wholeheartedly for Afghanistan's security. Pakistan has played a key role for stability and security in Afghanistan. Terrorist groups from Afghanistan attack against Pakistan."
He stressed: "Evidence shows that the bases of terrorist actions trace back to the safe havens of terrorists inside Afghan territory. Pakistan will spare no effort to ensure its security."
Meanwhile, Pakistani fighter jet strikes in the Barmal district of Paktika province resulted in the death and injury of numerous civilians, including children.
According to published reports, around 50 individuals lost their lives and several others injured in Pakistani airstrikes.
According to UNICEF reported, 20 children lost their lives in these attacks.
Furthermore, intense clashes occurred last night between the Taliban forces and Pakistani military in the Dand-e-Patan district of Paktika province. However, no details of the confrontation have been released so far.
