A group of Afghan civil activists that recently resident in abroad, convened on Monday in a meeting in Norway with pro-Taliban figures.
Participants discussed topics related to political and human right issues in Afghanistan.
According to a participant, pro-Taliban figures attending in the meeting from Afghanistan, included Saeed Mushk Alam, Faiz Mohammad Zaland, Nazar Mohammad Motma’in, and Jafar Mahdawi.
Representatives identifying themselves as members of civil society, residing outside of Afghanistan, included Karim Amin, Fatemeh Gilani, Asila Wardak, Qahraman Kakar, and Kavon Kaar.
Norway also previously hosted Taliban’s representatives.
Sources indicate that ministry of foreign affairs of Norway initiated this two-days meeting, although the country has not officially commented on the event.
