Afghan commerce trucks entered in Pakistan with temporary instated permits.

Afghan – Pakistan joint chamber of commerce and investment have criticized from distribution of permanent permits and said more facilities should consider for drivers in obtaining of permits.

Head of chamber of commerce and investment, Khan Jan Alkozai said that our first shipment to crossed from Dant – Patan of Paktia province towards Pakistan, we hope conditions become simpler that troubles are resolved. Meanwhile, because of trucks crossing, this process goes ahead very slowly.

Meanwhile, some traders say they are standing with various challenges in trading with Pakistan. They stress to implant of Afghan – Pakistan trades agreement.

Due to closure of Pakistan crossings to Afghan freight trucks in 2023, Afghanistan’s shipments with the country significantly decreased, the chamber of commerce and investment said.
